Introduction to Digital Humanities, Fall 2012

In the fall of 2012 I worked with fellow Intro to Digital Humanities  student Jessica Gauthier  on a pilot project featuring materials from the Harry Ransom Center. Together we were assigned a selection of scanned personal items from the Joseph Conrad collection. Our project was to build a website using Omeka and its various plugins and encoded all eleven letters with TEI, and create populated metadata fields. The project was hosted on the iSchools personal server and was taken down at the end of the Fall 2012 semester. To give an idea of the project I have included cropped screen caps to give you an idea of the final product.
